I’ve been friends with someone who has a very influential family name and I must say who can have access to a lot of power and privilege. I’ve known this person for quite a while now and I’m just truly impressed and blown away by how humble and down-to-earth this person is (along with the siblings). This person has become a constant source of wisdom and courage for me — more than this person will ever know. And I am forever thankful. I’ve known other people of my age coming from influential families as well — and more often than not, I just want to bonk them in the head for just being annoyingly bratty and maarte and ditzy and just plain useless airheads. Seriously.

The name does not define this person. And this endears this person to me much more.

I know you dont want to be named here.

I know you know that you are the one I’m talking about.

This one’s for you. Thanks for everything! Here’s to more years of friendship

I’m happy to hear from them.

I really had a Fantastic Friday  

This Friday is really Fun! Let me list my Five things For Friday!

1. First time to wake up early for a shopping trip with Alfred and Jezreel at the Power Plant then we had a filling meal at Pepper Lunch! yuummmmyyy
2. Farewell MMG pakain from Jon Canto — this is his last day in the office… and he’s Finally Free!
3. Frustrating math problem c/o Aika/Jillian/Mamarobs — seriously, ten MMG consultants tried to answer that freaking problem for an hour… or more… and we just couldn’t solve it. seriously. baka may typo!
4. Free PIZZA from Jugnos. WAHAHAHA. Say it again with me — Jugnos. HAHAHA the name of that pizza place is so funny…
5. Finally… dumating na yung hinihintay ko.

Fantastic day Filled with a lot of Firsts, Freebies, Freedom, Farewells, Freakiness, Failed relationships…

and of course. FRIENDSHIPS.

Hello blog. It’s me again.

I’ve been seriously distracted at work — fine, I had a great time with MMG folks the other night — but aside from that, I’ve been having trouble concentrating. If I were still in school, I would’ve probably flunked several exams by now. Tomorrow is a new day. I will start it early. Start to really get cranking on those numbers and slides.

I’m now listing down my 5 things for Saturday and Sunday… para makahabol hehehe

Saturday

1. Boxing
2. not working alone in the office
3. earth hour
4. Aika Robredo/Eileen Manansala and all the kwentos I associate with them
5. CBTL and seeing Inna again!

Sunday

1. Pepper Lunch for lunch. HEAVENLY.
2. Chika chika with my tita and her family (especially Baby Mya — my super adorable niece) at shang
3. 15 minute nap
4. Aika’s super sabawness; Cha and Beia Ate figure all the waaaay
5. the courage to accept that I really cannot concentrate anymore and that I will just sleep so that I can wake up early and WORK WORK WORK until Poland EOD.

Omg, where do I begin!??!?!

 

I seriously had a deliriously happy time with friends! My boss was kinda sick and our clients were not in the office… SOOOO…

more free time for me!

1.  THAT john lloyd avatar im using. omg. i love john lloyd. Before I die, I want to meet him. And hug him. And give him a kiss!!!
2. Chachic’s pakain in the office. Party hats. Spaghetti. Hotdog. Chicken. Ice Cream. GRABE ang fuuuun!!! Lotsa pictures too!
3. MMG Videoke Night — need I say more? I must say, MMG boys have good singing voices! even the MMG gays! haha!
4. Yam Cha midnight merienda!!! I love their dimsum! and yes to cold beer!
5. Chikahan with Chachic — one of the few people who can really give the letter C to the word COMFORT. and it’s prolly the last time I’d have to drive her home… aww. but i wont miss you bachic! no i won’t! I wish you all the best! I am excited for me too as I am for you

I went home around 6am… feeling super high and giddy and just thankful for awesome friends

(Something I wrote a few years ago…)

Dont we just all have our favorite pair of jeans? Then suddenly, we find a much better pair. Your old pair just gets locked away in the darkest corner of your cabinet. You just don’t want to let go of it. But as time goes by, you forget about it. You neglect its presence. Months pass and then you suddenly remember that you still have that old pair of jeans…

so you look for it…

Only to find out that there are many holes in the fabric, eaten away by moths.

So what is the moral lesson of the story?

Gumamit ng moth balls?

Wala lang. Kaya ako wala akong paboritong maong. I may have my frequently used pairs just because i like their fit but I have pairs that i really really like and treasure. And I love all of my jeans. I wouldnt want any of my jeans to rot away. I may not wear some of them as much as the others, but at least i know they are there. And I acknowledge their presence.

So ano ba ang maong?

Wala lang.

Jeans. Parang genes.
